What You Need With You to Run Appointments

General Guidelines

When you first begin to run appointments, you will have chosen one or two companies to run with (most managers choose Columbian Financial Group and/or Foresters). For most of your initial business, a plan from one of these companies will be great for your clients (remember to check plan with your agent mentor via phone after you have gathered asked your client some key questions such as, do they have heart issues, or ever had cancer, diabetes, etc).

Getting Your Client a Quote

Smart Phones

Quoting tools for most of our key products are now available on your Smart Phone. Using your phone’s browser, go to www.naauniversity.com and then choose Resources/Quoting Tools. Some Apps are also available in your App store. Download to your smart phone, iPad or tablet. Explore the App to be sure you understand how to input your client’s information and if you have questions, please feel free to call your team leader or agency manager for additional information.

Computer

Some of our products still require that you use a computer to get your client an accurate quote. These products include Foresters SmartUL and other products where a quote requires your client’s signature.

NB: Run Internet Updates on ALL your computer-based illustration software and calculators on a weekly basis. The App takes the quoting engine from the web so is always updated.

IMPORTANT:

Remember, E-apps save you from yourself!  For the most part, E-apps are available from a majority of the carriers, but in case they are not, we have included information on that as well.

Be prepared…have your Agent Mentor(s) on speed dial to be sure you are writing what is best for your client and have all the paperwork you need in case you are not able to do an E-app.  Never leave the home without calling your Agent Mentor…they will help you close the sale!

As a side note, if for some reason you must write medically underwritten, please check with your Agent Mentor on the process as due to the pandemic it may be more difficult at this time.
